To view the schedule for a location, simply click on the location on the map and select the "Sign Up" button. You do not need to sign up and complete the process.
2 . How do I create a Mindbody account?
Mindbody is the program we use to schedule yoga hikes. Please see steps below to set up your account. You must CREATE INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNTS for each person attending. You cannot reserve a spot for someone else on your account.

6 . How do I share a yoga hike package with a friend?
We have clients buy yoga hikes for a friend or spouse through their own account. This works and is totally fine, there are just a few steps involved! Please follow the steps carefully below for proper registration.
1. First you need to sign into Mindbody and purchase a package with multiple yoga hikes (Online Store Tab) 2. Your friend needs to have a MINDBODY account created to share your yoga hikes and sign up for a class Hint: You can do this for them. Simply click �Sign Up� (top right corner) and enter their first and last name. Include their email for instructor! 3. On each individual account, sign up for a yoga hike (or let the credit sit, it will be waiting for you!) 4. Email [email protected] with recipients full name, how many yoga hikes you would like to share, and the date you signed up (Note: Shows �Unpaid� on their account if you do not notify us!)
7 . How do I apply a promotional code?
Steps to Apply Promo Code: 1. Log into Mindbody or create an account (see #2 on our FAQ page for details) 2. Click the "Online Store" tab (top right) 4. Select "Yoga Hikes" 5. 2 . What if I have to cancel?
Cancellation Policy:
Since yoga hikes are limited to 15 people for optimum experience, we enforce our cancellation policy. When you sign up and pay for a hike we are saving you a spot and not allowing someone else to attend. Reservations may be canceled online. You will forfeit your yoga hike if you do not notify us 24 hours prior to the yoga hike and will not be given back credit.
To Cancel Your Yoga Hike:
1. Sign into your MINDBODY account 2. Click �My Info� Tab 3. Select �My Schedule� 4. Press the yellow �Cancel� to the right of the yoga hike scheduled
3 . How do I win free yoga hikes through Perkville?
To take care of our regulars and referrals we have Perkville, an awesome website to hook you up with free yoga hikes! You will be invited via email to join Perkville. Be sure to use the same email from Mindbody for tracking purposes.

Here is how it works:

How do customers get points when referring someone else?

4 . How do I make sure I signed up correctly?
1. Click on the hiking yoga logo above, then select the desired location on our map, and click the "Sign Up" button from the pop-up window 2. Click on the �Sign Up� (top right hand corner) 3. Click the "My Info" Tab 4. Select the "My Schedule" tab
You can now verify that you are correctly signed up for the desired yoga hikes. Only yoga hikes you are signed up for will show. Each individual must create their own account, and sign up for the yoga hike they would like to attend through their own account.
5 . How can I manage Facebook notifications?
You can manage email notifications by selecting the "Settings" link in the upper right hand corner of any page. From the Notifications tab, you can choose which actions you want to generate emails. For example, if you want to be notified by email each time someone writes on your Wall or receive weekly email digests about your friends' upcoming birthdays, just check the boxes next to these options. If you'd rather not be notified when people poke you or comment on your photos, just leave those boxes unchecked.
To change the email address associated with your account, select the "Settings" tab. You'll then see your current email address and can select "change" to add or delete addresses. Your Facebook email notifications will only be sent to the address you designate as your "Contact Email," so also be sure this information is accurate.
1 . I am wait listed, did I make it off?
The best way to find out whether you made it onto the yoga hike is to:
1. Click on the hiking yoga logo above, select your location on our map, and then click the "Sign Up" button 2. Your region's MINDBODY page will appear, log into your account 3. Click the "My Info" Tab 4. Select the "My Schedule" tab
If the top right hand corner continues to say "CWait List" then you have not been bumped up to the class.
Checking your account can be done at any time, up to and including the day of the yoga hike. Note that since our cancellation policy requires a 24hrs notice, most cancellations happen the day before the yoga hike.
Note: You may also be notified via email to alert you that you are now on the yoga hike. However, if someone cancels after the cut-off time, you may not be notified in time. That is why we strongly recommend that you log into your Mindbody account to see if you make it onto the yoga hike.

4 . What do I need to bring and wear?
* We provide the mats for you so you do not need to bring one. My favorite joke about them is that they are designed for squirrels! You will get it once you see
* Wear running or walking shoes (no open toed shoes please) and comfortable workout clothes
* Bring layers if weather is cooler in the morning or at dusk
* Bring sunscreen if you have sensitive skin, a hat and sunglasses if you prefer
* We recommend you bring your own water for proper hydration

5 . Is water available?
Most courses offer public fountains but we strongly encourage bringing your own. It is always safer to drink extra than not enough. A good estimate to go by is to take your weight in pounds and divide by 2 and that is how many ounces you should drink. 200 pounder drinks 100 ounces. All will vary by climate, activity level, and other factors.
6 . Are children allowed?
Small kids will not be able to keep up, but fit teens enjoy it very much. Infants are welcome to come for the ride if the parent understands they will have to duck out if child interferes with the groups experience.
7 . Are dogs allowed?
No.
8 . Do you leave on time?
We always meet 10 minutes before the posted yoga hike start time. Always give time for parking, public transit, and the like as we will be leaving right at start time. That gives time to use the restroom and check in with teacher. If you are running late call the instructor on their cell so everyone is not waiting around. Common courtesy applies. If you are late you may be able to catch up with the group (extra cardio!)
9 . How long is the yoga hike?
Public yoga hikes are scheduled for 90 mins
10 . Do you cancel if it rains?
The yoga hike will run unless the teacher cancels the hike. The teacher will send an email out up to one hour before hike canceling if weather is unsafe.We will all assume yoga hike is on UNLESS you hear otherwise. If weather shifts for the worse at actual meeting time it is up to the teacher to cancel on site. If the yoga hike is canceled you will be given credit on Mind Body to use whenever you desire.
11 . Place to store things during the yoga hike?
No, some bring a small athletic pack to carry water, keys, cell phone, and wallet.
12 . Who comes on a yoga hike?
There are as many answers to this as there are yoga hikers. See who else has made yoga hikes part of their regular workout routine:
The Transplant: We are located in great cities people are drawn to and want to feel more connected to their adopted city, meet some cool people and take care of themselves.
The Studio Queen or Gym Rat: Those bored with the treadmill or want to get off the studio hardwoods and try something different.
The Local: They have been here for a long time and have seen many new offerings. These are some of our biggest fans. They come to experience their community in a fresh way. This is not like any other workout they have done before.
The Bootcamper: Those looking for a big change in how they feel in their body. They come 3-4/week and are usually ready to turn a new leaf. Whether they have a wedding, a charity event they are wanting to train for in a healthy way, or simply tired of their own excuses.
The Social: After a week of quick, convenient workouts (read boring) they are ready to meet their friends for a Yoga Hike and then go grab some food afterwards. This is a fun, social, connected workout to enjoy in an unhurried start to your evening or weekend.
The Traveler: They are visiting and want a unique way to explore the place and meet locals while getting a fabulous workout.
13 . Is this workout for beginners?
Yes, we welcome beginners to yoga with a cardio base. We will hike at a brisk pace, 2.8-3.5 miles in an hour. The yoga is suitable for all levels. Our goal is for your body to remember us the next morning, but not hate us :)
14 . How do I integrate Hiking Yoga into my workout routine?
You can buy a drop in hike. You can buy series of 3 or 10 hikes. You can do a 6 weeks bootcamp with unlimited attendance to during that intense period.

16 . When is the winter break?
We take a break from Thanksgiving through the beginning of the New Year. Exact dates 11/23/11 through 01/07/2012.

We recommend signing up for all 3 yoga hikes during your 14 day cleanse. Plan in advance which days you will set aside the time to work out and have a blast! Enlist the support of a friend by making plans to attend together. This will increase your chances of showing up... sometimes the hardest part :)
2 . What does the cleanse entail?
There are three options (A-C) for the cleanse so that you can take it as deep as you feel comfortable going. There is also an optional juice fast on the 9th day of the cleanse. The overall aim is is to eliminate sugars, processed foods, alcohol, caffeine and animal products from your diet while eating seasonal, detoxifying foods.
3 . How do I schedule a future cleanse?
We conduct cleanses once per season. Check back on our website when the next one is available.
4 . Can I have wine or coffee?
This cleanse is all about what�s do-able for you. We recommend eliminating caffeine and alcohol from your diet, as these things interfere with the detoxifying process of your body, however those choosing to follow Option A of the cleanse may not be ready to do so.
5 . Do I have to follow the exact meal plan?
No. This is simply there for you as a reference should you need ideas or inspiration for your meals. It is wonderful if you choose to follow the meal plan exactly as it is laid out, however you may find you like making large batches of the meals so that you have left overs which are easy to utilize throughout your week. The most important times to follow the meal plan are if you are participating in the juice fast day. In this case it is beneficial to lighten up your foods the day before and after the fast.
6 . Do I need a blender or juicer?
While these are not required to have, it is strongly recommended for both. Smoothies and juices are wonderful options while cleansing as they are easy for your body to digest and get immediate, long lasting energy from.
7 . Which juicer do you recommend?
Juicers normally fall into three categories: Centrifugal: A fast spinning grater shreds fruits/veggies. The juice moves through a strainer and out a spout while the pulp goes into a catch basket. Easy to use quick to clean, less expensive. Nutrients oxidize quicker and enzymes of your juice break down quicker when exposed to air (i.e. drink quickly!).
Brand recommendations: Breville Ikon or Breville Juice fountain compact, Jack Lalane juicers
Masticating: Uses a slow spinning screw shaped gear that chews up produce and squeezes their juice through a stainless steal screen. This action gently tears cell membranes in order to release nutrients. Extracts more juice; gets more nutrients, less foam and longer fridge life. Brand recommendations: Champion or Hurom Slow Juicer
Twin Gear: (Top end) Slowly squish produces between two gears until the pulp is nearly dry and all the juice is squeezed out. Juice lasts up to 72 hrs, you can also make nut butters and wheatgrass juice. Brand recommendations: Green Star Juice Extractor, Samson Ultra Juicer
8 . Can I share the yoga hikes pack with a friend?
In the case of the 3 yoga hike pack included in the cleanse we do not allow for sharing. The pack is intended for the cleanser alone to use and take advantage of. You can purchase single drop in yoga hikes or other multi-packs to share with friends.
9 . What can I do before the cleanse begins?
Beginning to wean yourself off of caffeine and processed carbs/sugars are two for the most beneficial things you can do for yourself before the cleanse begins. 10 . Are there an in person meeting?
Because we offer the cleanse to a variety of different locations and cities throughout the US, rather then conduct separate in person meeting based upon geographic location, we offer live meetings via webinar. The first webinar meeting being Saturday (the day before the cleanse begins), the second halfway through the cleanse (on the second Saturday), and on the last day of the cleanse, Sunday.
11 . What is the overall goal of the cleanse?
To cleanse your body of accumulated toxins and leave you feeling lighter, more energized and inline with the abundant produce of each new season.
12 . Are there supplements included in this cleanse?
While we do mention beneficial supplements that can help to support your body on a daily basis and throughout cleansing, we do not require (or provide) supplements for this 14 day cleanse.
13 . Will this cleanse impact my ability to work out or train for a sporting event?
Everyone reacts differently to cleansing. You may notice that you have less energy some days, and more others. We ask that you take this time to listen to your body, and if it's telling you to relax or take it down a notch, be mindful and accommodating of this. At the same time, you may find that you have much more energy then normal...go with it! Again, everyone will experience different things.
