The 2013 Schedule will be avail by the end of January 2013. To view the schedule for a location, simply go back to the map on the HOME page, click on the desired location on the map, and select the "Schedule" button. You do not need to sign up and complete the process to view the schedule.

IMPORTANT information about MINDBODY: Mindbody is the program we use to schedule yoga hikes. EACH INDIVIDUAL MUST CREATE THEIR OWN MINDBODY ACCOUNT. Mindbody does not allow you to reserve spots for other people besides yourself.

If you want to attend a Yoga Hike (YH) with other friends, they will need to create their own accounts and sign up themselves, or you can CREATE INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNTS for each person attending, provided you have the required fields information for them. Required fields are as follows: First and Last Name, Birthday, Mobile phone, How did you hear about us, email and password.

1. Click on the hiking yoga logo above, select the desired location on our map, and then click the "Schedule" button

2. Click on the "Sign Up!" link directly under the Email/Username box in the upper right hand corner of your screen.

3. Fill out the required fields, click on the "I agree with the terms above box" and hit the "Create Account" button.

6. Please DO NOT USE THE PROMOTIONAL CODE BOX to enter your daily deal voucher number. Click on "Check Out" button.

7. Please DO NOT USE THE GIFT CARD NUMBER BOX to enter your daily deal voucher number. Enter your email address (if it is not already automatically filled in) and hit the "Place Order" button

8. Click on "Book this Service" button to schedule your hike or simply go to the "Yoga Hikes" tab and find the yoga hike you would like sign up for. You are set! Now, you can take care of your friend:

9. Again, your friend will need to have a MINDBODY account. If he or she does not have one already you can easily do this for them. Simply log off from your mindbody account, create an account for them and follow the same exact steps above.

10. The last step is to email [email protected] your daily deal voucher # and provide the name of the friend you are sharing your the voucher with Email Subject line: �Groupon # is: (Enter Number Here)� or "Living Social # is: (Enter Number Here)", etc. as it applies to you. Be sure to get meeting point details and map info by selecting "More Info" on the location you will be visiting! Enjoy your yoga hike! :)

Unfortunately, we cannot extend the daily deal expiration dates beyond the date printed on your voucher. However, we want you to come on out and experience at least once one of our yoga hikes!

So here are a couple of options for you.

If you have a COMPLETELY UNUSED expired voucher, we will exchange it for a drop in yoga hike (value $20) valid for 365 days OR, or the cash value of the deal you purchased (whichever is the greater)

Simply create an account in Mindbody, if you haven't already, then send us to the info below to [email protected]:

1) your Mindbody account name and associated email address,
2) the daily deal information including
a) voucher type (please specify Groupon, Living Social, etc.)
b) number/code
c) expiration date.

We will drop in a credit for a yoga hike on your Mindbody account valid for one year so you can come and try us out.

First you will need to purchase a "Series or Membership".

Multi-packs are intented for individual use only. However, sometimes our guests want to treat a friend to a yoga hike from their account. If you plan to share your multi-pack, be sure to read on "How do I share a Yoga Hike (YH) multi-pack with a friend?" below.

We have clients buy yoga hikes for a friend or spouse through their own account. This works and is totally fine, there are just a few steps involved! Please follow the steps carefully below for proper registration.

1. First you need to sign into Mindbody and purchase a package with multiple yoga hikes (Online Store Tab)

2. Your friend needs to have a MINDBODY account created to share your yoga hikes and sign up for a class Hint: You can do this for them. Simply click the "Sign Up!" link (top right corner) and enter the required fields to create their account.

3. On each individual account, sign up for a yoga hike (or let the credit sit, it will be waiting for you!)

4. Email [email protected] with first and last name of the person you want to share your multi-pack. We will link both accounts to draw from your multi-pack. (Note: Our system will show "Unpaid" on their account if you do not notify us to share from your multi-pack!)

Simply follow the steps under "How do I purchase & sign up for a Yoga Hike (YH)?" and use your Promotional Code when prompted.

IMPORTANT: Promotional Codes ARE NOT Groupon/Livign Social/Yelp Vouchers numbers. For how to use your Groupon/Living Social/Yelp Voucher, refer to questions above regarding how to use your Groupon.

Simply follow the steps under "How do I purchase & sign up for a Yoga Hike (YH)?" and use your Gift Card Number when prompted.

Cancellation Policy:

Since yoga hikes are limited to 15 people for optimum experience, we enforce our cancellation policy. When you sign up and pay for a hike we are saving you a spot and not allowing someone else to attend. Reservations may be canceled online. You will forfeit your yoga hike if you do not notify us 24 hours prior to the yoga hike and will not be given back credit.

To Cancel Your Yoga Hike:

1. Log In to your Mindbody account
2. Click �My Info� Tab and select �My Schedule�
3. Press the yellow �Cancel� to the right of the yoga hike you want to cancel

While logged into your Mindbody account, click on the "My Info" Tab, select "My Schedule" and verify that you are signed up for the class you selected.

Only yoga hikes you are signed up for will show.

After you sign up for a yoga hike, you can expect a automatic confirmation sent by the Mindbody scheduler. Please be sure to check your Spam box and enable your browser or email system to accept emails from this source. We do not look to add to your email.�

The night before your yoga hike, the instructor will send out a confirmation email including their cell number and more details about the meeting location. Most of the meeting location details, including a map and a picture of the meeting point, can be found in our website by clicking on the location in the map on our homepage and selecting the "More Info" button for that location.�

The email from the instructor is simply to confirm and provide you with a means to communicate emergencies to the instructor. For example, if you are running late or have some sort of emergency that prevents you from arriving to the meeting location on time, so you can alert the instructor and the group is not held back unnecessarily. Or, if you are a couple of minutes late, to give you the possiblity of catching up with the group by checking in with the instructor where the first yoga station will be. Mind you, if you are running late, we do not guarantee that you can catch up to the group as cell coverage in some locations is not reliable and we cannot hold up the group for late comers.�

The instructor's confirmation email sometimes serves as a heads up to address cancellation of the yoga hike based on weather conditions. he or she may inform you that based on the weather conditions, we will be doing the yoga hike UNLESS you hear otherwise up to 1hr before the yoga hike the next morning. We are after all, looking to have a great time outdoors and no one wants to be soaking wet due to rain or worst still, struck by lightning due to electric storm conditions!�

During the yoga hike, you can expect to have a blissed out time! That is the idea anyway and what keeps us motivated to bring the best of each and every one of us every day on every yoga hike for you to enjoy!

The best way to find out whether you made it onto the yoga hike is to:

1. Click on the hiking yoga logo above, select your location on our map, and then click the "Sign Up" button
2. Your region's MINDBODY page will appear, log into your account
3. Click the "My Info" Tab
4. Select the "My Schedule" tab

If the top right hand corner continues to say "CWait List" then you have not been bumped up to the class.�

Checking your account can be done at any time, up to and including the day of the yoga hike. Note that since our cancellation policy requires a 24hrs notice, most cancellations happen the day before the yoga hike.�

Note: You may also be notified via email to alert you that you are now on the yoga hike. However, if someone cancels after the cut-off time, you may not be notified in time. That is why we strongly recommend that you log into your Mindbody account to see if you make it onto the yoga hike.

* We provide the mats for you so you do not need to bring one. My favorite joke about them is that they are designed for squirrels! You will get it once you see

* Wear running or walking shoes (no open toed shoes please) and comfortable workout clothes

* Bring sunscreen if you have sensitive skin, a hat and sunglasses if you prefer

* We recommend you bring your own water for proper hydration

Most courses offer public fountains but we strongly encourage bringing your own. It is always safer to drink extra than not enough. A good estimate to go by is to take your weight in pounds and divide by 2 and that is how many ounces you should drink. 200 pounder drinks 100 ounces. All will vary by climate, activity level, and other factors.

Small kids will not be able to keep up, but fit teens enjoy it very much. Infants are welcome to come for the ride if the parent understands they will have to duck out if child interferes with the groups experience.

We always meet 10 minutes before the posted yoga hike start time. Always give time for parking, public transit, and the like as we will be leaving right at start time. That gives time to use the restroom and check in with teacher. If you are running late call the instructor on their cell so everyone is not waiting around. Common courtesy applies. If you are late you may be able to catch up with the group (extra cardio!)

Public yoga hikes are scheduled for 90 mins.

If you have a hard stop in the back end, please communicate this to the instructor ahead of time. Group pace may slow down at times and result in slightly longer duration yoga hikes.

The yoga hike will run unless the teacher cancels the hike. The teacher will send an email out up to one hour before hike canceling if weather is unsafe.We will all assume yoga hike is on UNLESS you hear otherwise. If weather shifts for the worse at actual meeting time it is up to the teacher to cancel on site. If the yoga hike is canceled you will be given credit on Mind Body to use whenever you desire.

No, some bring a small athletic pack to carry water, keys, cell phone, and wallet.

The Social: After a week of quick, convenient workouts (read boring) they are ready to meet their friends for a Yoga Hike and then go grab some food afterwards. This is a fun, social, connected workout to enjoy in an unhurried start to your evening or weekend.

The Traveler: They are visiting and want a unique way to explore the place and meet locals while getting a fabulous workout.

Yes, we welcome beginners to yoga with a cardio base. We will hike at a brisk pace, 2.8-3.5 miles in an hour. The yoga is suitable for all levels. Our goal is for your body to remember us the next morning, but not hate us :)

You can buy a drop in hike. You can buy series of 3 or 10 hikes. You can do a 6 weeks bootcamp with unlimited attendance to during that intense period.

We take a break from Thanksgiving through the beginning of the New Year. Exact dates vary every year depending on the weather conditions.

We encourage participants in the HYT to have completed their 200 RYT certification or possess equivalent practical experience in yoga instruction. Being able to offer a safe, fun, and compelling yoga experience is a must!

To apply to the HYT, simply submit an online application, schedule and complete the private Intake Session with Eric. Once accepted, we will walk you through the steps to sign up online.�

In order to secure a spot in the HYT, candidates will need to complete the following actions:

HYT is a training to help you offer a new dynamic style of yoga and build your yoga business. It is NOT a franchise. We cannot limit where you (or anyone else for that matter) choose(s) to offer your business.

The purpose of the Intake Session with Eric is to determine if the HYT is a good fit for you and us. In this 25 minute private call with Eric, you get to ask all the specific training questions about you as a teacher or about your vision for the training. We also get to ask some of the questions to see if working together is a good fit.

In Facebook, you can manage email notifications by selecting the "Settings" link in the upper right hand corner of any page. From the Notifications tab, you can choose which actions you want to generate emails. For example, if you want to be notified by email each time someone writes on your Wall or receive weekly email digests about your friends' upcoming birthdays, just check the boxes next to these options. Winning photo will be featured with name credited; all photos entered are available for use of Hiking Yoga for publishing purposes. The �Hiking Yoga Pictastic Contest� is open to ALL photographers at least 18 years of age, except employees of Hiking Yoga and the immediate families of such employees. The contest is open to all participants regardless of residence or citizenship, so long as the laws of their jurisdiction allow participation.
WHAT TO ENTER:
We are looking for striking digital images to celebrate hiking, yoga and nature – and their important connection to each other.
Your images should highlight the diversity of yoga in nature, including portraits of yoga and hiking in the outdoors, yoga representing the mind/body connection, relationship between yoga, hiking and nature including all yoga poses, weather and seasons.
We are especially interested in images that showcase the wide range of yoga and hiking across our planet.
Please do not include photographs of pets or domestic animals. Images of captive animals photographed in zoos and commercial game farms are also prohibited, however photos from state and national wildlife preserves are allowed.
If you choose to include people in your submission, you are responsible for obtaining the necessary releases from the individuals depicted, and must be able to provide copies of those releases to Hiking Yoga upon request. Entrants must not submit images that involve human nudity, damage to the environment by the photographer, put any individual or person in danger, or infringe on the rights of any other photographer or person.
All photographs should accurately reflect the subject matter and the scene as it appeared. Photos that have been digitally altered beyond standard optimization (removal of dust, cropping, reasonable adjustments to exposure, color and contrast, etc.) will be disqualified. Multiple exposures that have been combined to produce a single "High Dynamic Range" image are acceptable. Images that do not meet these requirements may or may not be judged at the judging panel's sole discretion.
Photo captions must accompany all submissions, and should include the subject of the image, the location the image was taken, and the name of the photographer(s).
HOW TO ENTER:
All images must be submitted through our photo submission email [email protected] required fields, including name, email and other information about your photo submission.
Select image directly from your computer desktop, or from your social media sites and send as attachments to [email protected] email for consideration in the contest.�

JUDGING:
Images will be judged on originality, technical excellence, composition, overall impact and artistic merit. The judges are a panel of Hiking Yoga staff members familiar with photography and responsible for selecting images for various Hiking Yoga printed and online marketing and membership materials.
Hiking Yoga shall determine winner eligibility in its sole and absolute discretion. All decisions made by the judges are final.
DEADLINES:
Online entries can be uploaded starting 12:01 pm Eastern Standard Time on August 30, 2013. Deadline for submitting entries is 11:59 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time on September 30, 2013.
The winner will be announced by 12:01 Eastern Standard Time on October 7, 2013 on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and on the Hiking Yoga Blog.

WINNING PHOTO PRIZE:
You and one other will receive a FREE YOGA HIKE & LUNCH located closest to your location. Persons must provide transportation to and from provided Yoga Hike. All terms included on all Yoga Hikes apply to contest winner and guest. Lunch shall be provided via Groupon of Hiking Yogas’ choosing near the Yoga Hike location.

Your photographs support the health and wellness movement so thank you for helping to further our mission through your photography.
You will give all rights to any photograph you submit to Hiking Yoga.
If your photograph is the winner of Hiking Yoga Pictastic Contest, Hiking Yoga will have a royalty-free, nonexclusive right, in perpetuity, to:
Use the photograph on the Internet in support of our mission.
Use the photograph in Hiking Yoga non-commercial communications.
Provide your photograph to other individuals and organizations for non-commercial and commercial use, newsletters, reports, slide shows, displays, web pages, and the like.
Use, in connection with Hiking Yoga Pictastic Photo Contest, your name, city, state and country of residence in promotions and other publications.
Keep the files provided, and to archive the images on CD or in other electronic forms, so that your photos can be used to support our mission and be properly credited.
As conditions of this permission, Hiking Yoga shall credit all photographs with the caption "� Person's Name" when the full name is available.
