 Rebecca Mayne
As San Francisco and Marin County, CA native, I grew up in a progressive community, surrounded by the beautiful Redwoods on the edge of the Pacific Coast. This nurtured in me a love of nature, as well as a curiosity about the greater Source of life, which led me to a deep connection with yoga and meditation practice.
Being in the presence of my first yoga teacher was like being in the presence of an embodied Goddess, a peaceful experience that gave me a wonderful example of what true manifestation of yoga is. Yoga can be a means to spread peace and love by healing the world within each individual. As my first teacher gave me an inspiring introduction to the depths of this practice, I hope to spread these gifts, as well.
In search of other great teachers and a great community in which to bridge my passions and education, I moved to Boulder, CO for three years in order to attend Naropa University, a gem in Western education for its contemplative and holistic approach.
Now back in The Bay, I continue to do all the things I love: hike, backpack, ski, snowshoe, dance, read, paint, all in the good company of my treasured friends!
Ive been greatly inspired by the revolutionary educational approaches of both the SEED Foundation and Harlem Childrens Zone. Thusly, my ultimate goal is to integrate wilderness experiences and contemplative arts either into these schools, or into schools within a similar model of providing this level of education to underprivileged children and families. www.rebeccamayneyoga.com/Move_Into_Light.html

Cindy Cnop
I was drawn to yoga shortly after the birth of my son Enzo in 1994. An athlete since childhood I was seeking healing following a difficult pregnancy and traumatic birth experience. Needless to say, I had come home! Yoga not only helped me to find a new path for my physical body, I also discovered the grace and beauty in opening one's heart to the divine. I was immediately drawn to the practices supporting women around birth and became a pre and post natal teacher. Since my first official Doula Training I have been supremely honored to assist in many births. My deepest gratitude goes to my inspirational teachers John Friend, Guru Mukh, Christi Minorovich, and Abby Wills as well as my dear children Katia and Enzo! Emily Galvin
My Yoga has been developing since 2002 and will continue to grow, change, inspire, center, balance, and give peace. My hope and intention in becoming a teacher is to allow myself and help others to invoke light and learn/heal from the inside out. I hope to offer this to all of those around me and offer my students a door and guided path through this beautiful adventure of life and to dance in this wonderful organism we have been given. Music, movement, and laughter are essential to life and so this is the basic structure of my style of teaching. My yoga classes encourage students to tap into their own creativity and to begin the focus to stay present and rejoice in the NOW.
I graduated from the Nosara Yoga Institute with the Interdisciplinary Hatha Yoga Teacher Training program in 2009. The insight of numerous teachers allowed me to practice in styles from Astanga, Iyengar, Bikram, Yin, and mixed styles of Hatha (Vinyasa, Power and Gentle Flow).
I am continuing my studies in this beautiful practice at the Eco Yoga Park in Argentina and at numerous studios in Mendoza, Argentina and Santiago, Chile and hope to teach in the Amazon of Peru in April. I then plan to take my learning to India and all throughout South East Asia for the second part of this year. Please see my blog to find out where I am currently and see what this new adventure is revealing as we speak/read :)

For a few years, I have been a life coach at Passages, a drug rehab center in Malibu. I have demonstrated my ability to inspire groups during hikes and through yoga, while having fun. I also get to motivate people through my daily yoga classes and through the flying yoga workshops that I teach.
